In their latest release “So Happy,” the dynamic duo of Daisy Grenade make you want to dance through the bitter rage that comes with losing at a breakup. With a driving bass line to pull you in, a forced calm conversational tone of the opening verse, then a bright and catchy chorus, you join them on a true journey. The lyrics of each verse are so incredibly relatable — who hasn’t looked up an ex to see what they’re up to? Who hasn’t felt a little bit like garbage when you see they’ve moved on and you’re still healing? Most of us have had to deal with pretending to be okay with it all. This song lives in that space, but it sparkles in the moments where the pretending stops and they admit that it hurts to be replaced so quickly. The chorus of the song is where they let it all in, and in those moments it’s impossible not to relate.

Misery sure does love its company, so don’t worry girls, we’ll be there next to you — mostly seeing you out on tour this summer. Daisy Grenade are currently out on tour supporting Pierce The Veil with a sold out show at Madison Square Garden. Immediately following the Pierce The Veil dates, this power pop-punk duo is lined up to support Honey Revenge across the USA. I know I, for one, can’t wait to hear this and whatever other new songs these girls have in store for us live.
