My Chemical Romance is back on tour this month, and we’re here to give you a reason for three cheers with these Black Parade inspired drinks.

We’re bookending the album, starting with the opening track. The End is a Penicillin (the cocktail) inspired drink to heal the dying patient within all of us. Famous Last Word is, of course, a riff on a Last Word, one of my personal favorite gin cocktails. Muddling some cherries into it makes it aesthetically on point for your next emo cocktail party. Blood is a sweet mocktail, so you can drink gallons of the stuff (but it may never be enough)!

The End:

2 oz blended scotch
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz ginger liqueur
1/2 oz honey
Rosemary sprig

Torch the rosemary sprig, add all ingredients to a shaker. Hard shake and double strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. 

Garnish with candied ginger and the torched rosemary sprig.

Famous Last Word:

3/4 oz gin
3/4 oz green chartreuse
3/4 oz luxardo maraschino liqueur
3/4 oz lime juice
Luxardo cherries

Muddle three of the luxardo cherries and add all ingredients to a shaker. Hard shake and double strain into a chilled coupe glass. 

Garnish with a luxardo cherry on a skewer.

Blood – Hidden Track:

1/2 oz blood Orange Syrup (we used Monin)
1 oz orange juice
Sparkling water or lemon lime soda

Fill a chalice with ice and add ingredients. Top with sparkling water, or lemon lime soda for added sweetness. 

Garnish with an orange wheel and an edible marigold flower.
